First of all what is Maleware?
Good question...
Malware is a term used for Malicious Software, software that is created for one purpose and that is to make your life miserable. It is used to destroy or corrupt your computer system.
Several companies claim that they can get rid of all the Malware programs on your computer, most of them want you to pay a large fee. The trouble is that most programs on the market today only take care of a small portion of the problems. By the time they infect your computer it is usually too late.
There is hope out there though. I was told about a program when I worked on post at JBLM, Joint Base Lewis McChord, in Washington State. The program is called Malwarebytes it is a very effective countermeasure to these Malware programs. They have both a free version, I use that, and a pay version. I have installed it on my system and it has saved me from the heartache of having to reprogram my system when I do research on Malware and how to defend against them,
How can I get Malware?
There are several answers to this question...
You can get Malware through the Email system, or by surfing the net. Although the chances of getting infected are slim it does happen from time to time.
It is my suggestion that you download Malwarebytes free version and give it a test drive.
